Secular Franciscans

Welcome !  You are most welcome to come, to read, to share the journey with me.  For after all.. it is both the Journey AND the Dream…

A little about me.  My name is Mark Banschnbach, OFS  I am a Secular Franciscan.  I belong to a religious order of men and women who follow in the footsteps of Saint Francis of Assisi.     These men and women live life in the world.  They make a living by the work of their hands.  They hold ordinary jobs.  The strive to live the life of a disciple in the example of Saint Francis.

If you would like to learn more about the Secular Franciscans …. Here is a link to the National Website :      Here you will find a wealth of information including who we are, what we do, and if you believe you may have a vocation with the Franciscans, there are people you can follow up with there.

      Peace to you !

Congratulations on your formation ! It took me a long time to get to the point where I was ready as well. Dont let time be a point of frustration or distress to you in your process. Be at peace with the journey that you are on ! Please feel free to email me if there is anything I can do for you !

      Your little brother..

      Pax et Bonum !

I was going through some of my old blog posts and ran across your message to me, and I thought I would check back in and see where you were on your journey I am assuming that if you stayed in formation, that your formation was completed and your profession has already occurred ?

What ever happened I pray that you have found the path that God has been leading you on..
